Liability Insurance

Having liability insurance isn't just a good idea. Under a constant threat of frivolous lawsuits it is practically a requirement. So how much is it going to cost you? The quick answer -- somewhere between $300 and $500 a year.

When looking for liability insurance it is recommended that you talk to an insurance broker as well as the big companies. If you are short on time then go straight to an insurance broker.

There are several reasons you should have liability insurance. Whether or not your machines pose any type of threat no matter how remote is not the issue. Unfortunately there are individuals who intentionally make outrageous claims in order to collect money. In many respects outright theft of your machines is better than being scammed by someone threatening to sue you.

Should you have liability insurance? Yes. If you can not afford it now then you should make it a priority.
