What will be my monthly vending machine business revenue?

Monthly income per machine can vary depending on several factors.

For a single-head gumball vending machine income on the low end may be $5 a month. A vending machine that earns at least $15 a month is considered a good earner. For a double head candy machine $20 is a good earner. On the very high end a candy vending machine can earn in excess of $100 a month. Take this into account before you sink a lot of money on a single machine.

Some people choose to move the location of their under performing vending machines. Is this a good idea? If you lack funds to purchase more machines then yes -- as long as you can service all of them.

It is not uncommon for under performing vending machines to start doing better. Some even become top earners. Why? Businesses start doing better and there is more foot traffic passing by your machines.

As you can see you will need more than a couple of vending machines in order to bring in a good monthly income.

I don't have any money to invest in vending machines -- what should I do?

A single vending machine is not a very expensive investment. When buying a large number of vending machines this cost increases exponentially. Unfortunately you are going to need a large number of vending machines to earn the income you want.

You have several options. First, start saving now. Minimize your needless expenses. Buy a used machine. With the revenue it generates save up and buy more machines.

Many new business owners begin with the attitude "If I just made enough for my car payments." This is a great goal to strive for but in the long term not a good one. Instead take that income and re-invest it in your business. This may mean staying at your day job a little longer. If your goal is to end your paycheck-to-paycheck lifestyle start saving today!

Another option if you are a home owner is to refinance your house. I do not recommend you do this and immediately purchase $10,000 worth of vending machines! Instead get a feel for the business and have a few successful machines placed. Many people refinance their homes and then buy a nicer car -- bad idea. Instead leverage your debt to make it produce an income for you.
